Solid Foods and Other Joys of March

Our smiley kid.

Studying his shadow.

Puzzling over books.

Patrick helping me babysit.

Caleb taking a nap.

Caught in the act.

Our friend Jeff with his son, Knightley. Practicing for when they have have more.

Introducing solids! Avocados first.

Not entirely sure what to think.

Peas, however, got a very definite response.

Bonding in the rocking chair.

. . . while Michelle rocks them.

Rolling himself up in a blanket. I like to do this too, but more for warmth than entertainment.

Carrots went over pretty well: "Give me more!"

Caleb with Latter-day Saint Patrick (Michelle's joke, not mine)

Caleb modeling his dashing St. Patrick's Day outfit.

. . . and again, "Let me just move this bib out of the way."

Twins! (Thanks to my mom.) These are our friends Debbie and Knightley.

On our way hiking up the Y. Caleb's first time ever!

With the Curtises.

And there's us.

And there we all are. Yup, we made it to the top.

The view from the top, looking down on Provo.

On our way back down. Beautiful background, handsome foreground.

Caleb enjoying his first hiking experience (even though he kept bumping against Dad's back).

This was Caleb's apparel on this beautiful last week when we went for a stroll to enjoy the weather.

"Well, hello! Didn't see you there!"

Patrick and Keegan! How are you two? We managed to bump into your blog while viewing Josh and Shauna. Congratulations on your little one; we have one of our own on the way (she's due in 3 weeks!). We're living in the Portland OR area, so if you ever come visit the area, look us up!
